Literacy - extra

Dear children,
Here is the last Literacy activity. I would like you to think of what we have gone through this year, new school, new friends, new teachers... it has been tough (difficult) but, at least for me, really worth it!

The activity I propose is "Two Stars and a Wish", and I would like you to think of at least two things you have really liked about this year, and a wish you have for next year.

You can send me the photo of your stars and wishes and I will upload a presentation with all of them at the end of June :)

Aquí tenéis la última actividad de Literacy. Me gustaría que pensarais en todo lo que hemos pasado este curso: nuevo cole, nuevos amigos, nuevos profes... Ha sido duro y difícil pero al menos para mí ha merecido mucho la pena.

La actividad que os propongo es "Dos Estrellas y un Deseo", y me gustaría que pensarais al menos dos cosas que os hayan gustado mucho de este curso, y un deseo que tengáis para el curso próximo.

Podéis mandarme la foto de vuestras estrellas y vuestros deseos y subiré una presentación con todos ellos a finales de junio :)

3. Activity: Describing the Troll. You have to write a description of the Troll following the model.
Tenéis que escribir una descripción del Troll siguiendo el modelo de uno de los niveles de escritura.
Writing levels: niveles de escritura que vimos en clase. Los alumnos tenían expuestos estos modelos de descripción y cuando se sentían confiados y preparados pasaban al siguiente "nivel". Entre el primero y el segundo la única diferencia es que se organiza el mismo texto en dos párrafos. En el tercero se introducen los conectores entre frases (also, moreover, apart from that, furthermore, finally...)

Hello! Here is a video showing how to make a fruit salad. 

Remember the one we did in class? These were the steps (pasos de la ensalada de fruta que hicimos en clase)

1st, Wash your hands and the fruit. (lava tus manos y la fruta)

2nd, Peel the fruit. (pela la fruta)

3rd, Slice the banana and the kiwi. (corta en rodajas)

4th, Chop the apple and the pear. (trocea en cuadraditos)

5th, Put all the fruit in the bowl. (pon toda la fruta en el bol)

6th, Pour some orange juice. (vierte zumo de naranja)

7th, Mix the fruit. (mezla)

Remember two weeks ago you had to write down your weekly menu? Now it's time for you to read it! If you didn't do the activity you can make up (invent) a menu with your favourite food, but don't forget to include lots of fruit and vegetables :)
If you want to, you can also send the audio of a one day menu and tell us which is your favourite food of that day.
